Okay, here’s how to play:
First of all, I start off with a writing prompt. In the comments below, you write a paragraph (1-8 sentences) of what comes after. Then the next person to comment continues the story. I’ll include an example below.
Writing prompt: The bomb exploded.
Commenter #1: Heat seared her skin. A piercing roar filled her ears. Light burned her eyes. It was over in a split-second. She straightened from her crouched position, charred remnants of the warehouse crunching beneath her feet. Pale ivory bones littered the ground.
Commenter #2: For once, she was thankful for the Gift.
Commenter #3: She brushed ash off of her shoulder and checked the tips of her hair to make sure they weren’t singed, though it was unnecessary. Her eyes were drawn once more to the stark white bones, and she felt a brief pang of regret. She wondered if they had even realized the bomb had gone off, or if they had died in ignorance. I didn’t really matter one way or another. But that didn’t stop her from wondering.
Pretty simple, right? If you have any questions or a writing prompt, you can contact me 🙂 So, here’s the prompt.
